This is the new 2010 Audi A8, scooped on test in Europe sporting a very BMW-style swirly whirly disguise. The A8 won’t be at next week’s 2009 Frankfurt motor show, and we’re expecting to see it at a later date in 2009 around November time. Audi has already issued a teaser sketch of the new A8’s headlamp, but now we can see the full dimensions and shape for the first time.
Mercedes has revealed that the 2013 E Class saloon will start at £32,400 and the E Class Estate from 34,310. The E63 AMG costs from £73,720. In fact, with everything from lights to bumpers, grills to interior and smoother haunches and a big crease line down the side, Mercedes could almost have claimed the new E Class to be a new car rather than just a mid-life facelift for the current E Class.
Half-million-dollar vehicles tend to be polarizing. Why, for example, might one drop extra-large coin on an Aventador Roadster when a Boxster S offers so much usable fun for a fraction of the price? Your average modern sports car is fast enough; why buy a supercar?
